Thomasson Law is a Colorado law firm focused exclusively on civil litigation—representing clients across the state from its home in Ouray.
The Practice
Lane Thomasson has practiced law in Southwest Colorado for more than a decade. Her experience spans service as a prosecutor, representation of county government, and years in private civil litigation. That broad background provides a practical understanding of how disputes develop, how courts evaluate them, and how to advocate effectively at every stage of a case — from early strategic decisions through trial and appeal. Practicing in the mountain communities of Southwest Colorado has also given her firsthand experience with the unique legal issues that arise in rural Colorado, including property disputes, local government matters, land use conflicts, and business litigation.
Every client works directly with Lane throughout the case. From the initial consultation through final resolution, Lane provides consistent, thoughtful advocacy focused on protecting her clients' interests and presenting their strongest case before the court.
